THE CONCEPT OF FOP

The experience connected to Feast of Praise is one that gives an indepth worship yearly.

The concept of Feast of Praise is for people to worship and praise God, and to lay down their burden as they cry out to the lord.

The program is not for people to just come,sing and dance but to do it in a manner connected to the holiness of God.

According to the special guest of FOP10 , Pastor Nkechi, said that the concept is bent on worshipping God purely from your heart.

She continued, "The devil wants you to dance, pray, worship but does not want you to do it purely from your heart".

A pure heart is what this feast of praise 10 is all about and that is why it is themed Heaven on Earth because only the pure in heart will see heaven.

She told the congregation that Heaven is what we want to see on earth, heaven is pure, it holy and we must get that concept before we continue the praise and worship so that our effort will not be in vain.

FOP: THEN AND NOW

The feast of praise (FOP) at its inception had few people in attendance.Looking back on how FOP started it had just choir members and dedicated church workers as its congregation,not much people knew and it was not well attended by the school management and staffs. It was just the choir that praised and worshipped without instrumentals, special guest and thousands of congregation for few minute.
The feast of praise of then had no special preparation or week dedicated to it. the dress code for the choir was anything comfortable and decent enough to praise God with.
Presently, the FOP of today is inviting as it has undergone tremendous changes during the years. Not only can it boost of thousand of congegation, the melodious songs special ministration from other institutions and special guest, it is now accepted by the school authority who also finance the program. Students are really excited to attend without anyone having to remind them. And life voices have a unique dress specially made for this programm.

According to Elizebeth Akinde, the head of department of life voices, said in an interview that FOP has really changed from what it used to be. She said, "the FOP at its inception had just few people who were interested in giving thanks to God through praise and worship, from the information i heard from my predecessor, we had a very low number of people in attendance but now we can boast of thousands of people".

A LIFE CHANGING PROGRAM

Feast of praise has touched so many lifes today. The number of students who gave their lifes to christ increases yearly.

the special guest speaker of FOP10,Pastor Nkechi, who ministered charged students to turn a new live and embrace christ as their personal Lord and saviour. She encouraged those who wanted are willing to accept christ to come out and touch her bible. The students all responeded to this and went out to surrender their lifes. Approximately, 59 students came out.
